About Me

Hi! I am so glad you’re here and I can’t wait to connect with you to share and rejoice in God’s goodness!
I will confess, this is a hard page for me to write. I can talk all day about Jesus, my husband or my kids.  I could sit for hours with you over a white chocolate mocha to listen, encourage, and share all our life victories and struggles with each other.
I would love nothing more than to pray with you, for you, and ask you to pray for me. Depending on the day, I might even be able to talk a little about current events…but talking about me and my life?  That’s harder!
On the surface, I’m pretty ordinary. I’m a very simple, easy-going housewife, madly in love with my husband and devoted to my kids.  I’m a homeschool mom to two incredible, amazing young men who love to learn and teach me far more than I could ever teach them–especially about the stuff that truly matters!
The most important thing about me though is that I am completely and totally head-over-heels devoted to my Savior. I am grateful for the miracles and blessings He has given me and I absolutely love my life!  As a wife and homeschool mom, I am living my dream and doing exactly what I was created to do–and I am so grateful!
And add in the fact that He lets me write and blog about all the incredible, amazing, and miraculous things He has done and is doing for me, in me, and through me… wow, I am humbled and overcome with joy! All I can do is shout from the rooftops to anyone who will listen and read and pray the words here somehow bless you and bring you closer to Him!
He is extraordinary, and in Him, life becomes extraordinary too!
I have seen miracles of faith, healing and watched Him do the unimaginable–and my heart’s desire is to share His love and goodness with you.
My prayer is that you would know Him a little more closely and desire to grow your relationship with Him because of something you have read here!
I started blogging and sharing my writing during an incredibly difficult season
of illness with my oldest child and there are many posts about his struggles and
the miracles we have seen through it. Through every crisis and teary moment, Jesus has never left my side andthe peace I have felt is truly beyond human understanding.
This blog, and my life, is all about knowing Jesus more and learning to enjoy this
life– the ups and downs, celebrations and losses, the top-of-the-mountain
moments and also the bottom of the valley—there is joy and peace in them all!
I have prayed for you.  I don’t know your name yet, but God has you reading this for a reason, and I hope we can connect here and share a part of this journey of life together—God has an amazing plan for us and it is no doubt very exciting!
 ~*~
My husband James and I have been married 20 years and we have 2 amazing boys who are 13 and 17 who we homeschool.  I suffer with fibromyalgia and am learning how to manage it as well as depression—it is a struggle every day but one I win with Christ and modern medicine!  I love to write and can get lost in it—sometimes I even have to set a timer!  We live in and love Savannah, GA and also love the Florida Gulf beaches and the mountains of Western NC! My biggest passion in life is to grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ and encourage others in their faith, followed closely by loving and caring for my family!
